Ash Wednesday

Please join us this Wednesday, the 26th, at 7:00 p.m. for our Ash Wednesday service.
Ash Wednesday marks the first day or the start of the season of Lent. Ash Wednesday always falls 40 days before Easter (Sundays are not included in the count). Lent is a time when Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, giving up of sinful habits, and spiritual discipline. We will also be performing acts of kindness.

Ashes on Ash Wednesday at the start of the Lenten season represent our repentance from sin and Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death to set us free from sin and death.
